Project timeline is 18 months, starting from Mar 2023 to May 2024


My role was product design across research, flows, UI, prototyping, and delivery with the developers. I worked closely with the founder, PM, and QA.

All-in-one growth platform bundling CRM, sales pipelines, marketing automation, and AI chat/voice agents.
24/7 automation: drag-and-drop workflows send emails, texts, and tasks while AI bots handle FAQs and lead qualification across web, SMS, and social channels.


Built-in scheduling with branded calendar links and auto-reminders to reduce no-shows.

What is Pract - E ?


People learn a language best when they speak often. Many apps teach grammar and vocabulary but do not create real conversation. PractE changes that. It gives learners small live rooms that run all day. It keeps the path to the first speaking moment short and clear. It adds safe spaces and a simple reward loop so people return.


Goals

Make it simple to speak in the first visit. Create comfort based spaces. Show progress and value so people come back.


Success measures

Time to first session. Day one and day seven retention. Average minutes in rooms. Conversion to paid.

Business Problem Statement


Sales, support, and operations teams keep jumping between tabs, chasing leads in email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and half-set-up automations. They lose context, hot leads go cold, and hours vanish into copy-paste work.

We need one AI-powered CRM that puts every conversation on a single timeline, replies to new leads in minutes instead of hours, and lets anyone set up workflows by simply dragging cards around.

Competitive Research :


We studied HelloTalk for social learning, Cambly for paid practice, and Clubhouse for room behavior. We kept the best patterns and added learning specific structure.


Wireframing

Low fidelity flows explored two questions. How fast can a new user speak for the first time. How do we reduce choice overload on Home.

Meetings

User Testing :


Short think aloud sessions showed that users struggled when asked to pick many options before joining. We moved those choices after the first session. Female learners asked for private spaces and clear rules. We added the female only flow and an upfront rule card.


Reiteration :


After tests we simplified the Home layout, raised the join card, and cut text in the plan cards. We added a lighter listening state so people could relax before speaking.


Future Scope :

Proposed Solution (User stories & High-Fidelity Designs) :

While wireframes are a commonly used tool in the design process, it’s important to note that they are not always the best starting point for every project.

It is harder to gather feedback from stakeholders who may need a more polished representation of the final product

In this case, beginning with higher-fidelity designs using the design system is more effective.
